I've been having really good food lately. Friday night, I made myself a gourmet hot-dog with an apple and bacon sausage from the local market. I replaced the typical hot-dog bun with ciabatta bread..yummm! oh and served with some chips!

This is from the Ruby spring 10/11 collection. It's called Bedrock. Can I just say: wow! This is absolutely amazing! I loved every single piece from the collection but these are my favourites. The black cutout dress in the middle is fantastic. Plus, the model is gorgeous!

The weather today was beautiful! I think I did quite a good job shopping-wise. 3 items, all Forever21...all very inexpensive! yoohoo! I can already imagine the multitude of outfits I can make with that little lace top! Also, normally the dresses and skirts are wayyyyy to short for me but this skirt is the perfect length and fits really well.

I've been temporarily relocated in my sisters ex room since my mums friend from England is here. It's okay, I don't mind too much...a little change of scenery. Oh gosh, I haven't slept in a single bed since my early, early childhood! It's so hot right now in Montreal! 28C and it feels like 33C, says the weather channel.
I have a meeting at work later tonight. This is my second year working as a lifeguard at my local pool. I think it's one of the best jobs: I get to be outdoors all day, I can swim when I want and (I know I'm not supposed to but...) I get to have a great tan! I do wear sunscreen and a hat, in my defence!

These days, I've really been into:an all white design for a room or a kitchen, huge refreshing pools and all the outfits that come with them, hair where only the tips are dyed in a crazay colour...

These are the two nail polishes I've been alternating between. They are both by Essie. Right now, the lilac is on my fingers and the fuchsia on my toes. I think they are both just great summer colours and they go great with my skin tone. Plus, they apply really well. I recommend Essie for sure!

My boyfriend recently surprised me with my favourite perfume: Marc Jacobs Daisy. It came with a body wash, a moisturizing cream (with shimmer in it!). All this in a beautiful beach bag. I'm not sure it's supposed to be used as a beach bag, but whatever. Surprise gifts are the best, no?
